Quick Start

What should you do after receiving your T2? This tutorial walks you through getting started with the robot.

Read Before Operation

  1. Prepare an open, flat area of at least 2m × 2m for operation.
  2. During motion, make sure there are no people or obstacles within the robot's operating range to avoid injury or collision.
  3. During motion, do not touch any part of the robot with your body except the handle.

Power On​

  1. Lay the robot face down, or hoist it with a transfer gantry.
  2. Install the battery pack: insert the battery into the robot's battery slot, with the indicator light on top.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds (release once the light turns on; holding for more than 6 seconds shuts it down) to power on the robot. After powering on, the robot waits about one minute and then plays a prompt tone, at which point it can be remotely controlled. During this time, keep the robot still to initialize the IMU.

Basic Operations​

  1. Power on the Booster controller: press and hold the Home button for 5 seconds to power on.

  2. Enter preparation mode: make sure the robot has enough space to stand up straight, then press L2 + Start to enter PREP mode.

  3. Auto stand up: press L2 + UP to stand up automatically.

  4. Omnidirectional walking: after the robot stands up, it automatically enters WALK mode, where you can use the controller joysticks:

    • The left joystick controls the walking direction.
    • The right joystick controls the turning direction.
    • The direction pad controls the direction the head turns.

Note: Do not lift the robot in walking mode. Otherwise, the robot may lose control of its legs because it cannot sense the ground, which can cause injury.

Shutdown Procedure​

  1. Auto lie down: press L2 + DOWN to lie down automatically.
  2. Power off the robot: a few seconds after the robot lies down, it automatically enters DAMP mode. Press and hold the power button on its back for 3 seconds to power off. Once the robot's body goes soft, you can store it.
  3. Power off the Booster controller: press and hold the Home button for 5 seconds.

After the robot powers off, wait 6 seconds before powering it on again.
